From us to you and back again - delivery and collection

 Cup Candy can deliver to anywere in the uk prices start from £15.  When delivering we require full location details. We aim to deliver on the time stated but we cannot be held responsible for any delays of delivery or collection that may occur. Please when hiring items ensure that timings stated take into consideration possible delays. When Cup Candy collects items are to be returned in the boxes they were delivered in - surcharges will be applied if this is not the case.

 Check & Sign

 When items are delivered they must be checked and signed for. Cup Candy is not responsible and will be unable to resolve any issues unless they are brought to our attention on receipt of delivery. When the goods are signed for they are then the responsibility of the recipient and it is expected that the goods will be kept safe until collected by Cup Candy.

 Vintage means

 Remember that some of the crockery supplied is vintage and as a result is more fragile and damages more easily than standard crockery. The crockery is not dishwasher friendly and in general requires tender loving care when handling and packaging. Vintage also means that some of the patterns, gilding etc.. on the crockery is worn - but this is how it is meant to be ! The crockery is not uniform so cups, saucers, plates, jugs will come in an array of differing sizes and colours.

 How to make a Payment to Cup Candy

 When a booking is made a 50% deposit is required. This deposit is non-refundable. Along with this payment we require a copy of signed terms and conditions.

 This initial Payment can be made by cheque or paypal.

 10 days to go

10 days before the date of hire we require the balance of the cost. We also require a separate cheque for £75 - this is to cover any breakages. This cheque is returnable subject to goods being returned without damage. Any damaged items will be charged accordingly and the amount deducted from the cheque. The cheque will be returned once items have been thoroughly checked at Cup Candy HQ.

 What happens if …….?

A Cancellation has to be made

 If Cup Candy is informed one month (30 days) before the date of hire then there is no cancellation charge.

 If we are told between 10 and 30 days then there is a 50 % charge and any cancellation received less than 10 days before the event will incur a full charge.

 Cup Candy requires cancellation by telephone and then in writing to confirm a cancellation. Please do not leave voicemail messages, texts or email to cancel.

 How long ?

 Generally items are delivered the day before an event and collected the day after which is a total of 3 days and prices are quoted on this basis. If items are required for longer then this can be arranged on booking. If extra items are required after the initial order Cup Candy will aim to provide additions if we have the stock available.

 Oops or I Can't find ….

 If a breakage occurs then this is the cost Cup Candy charges to replace the item.

Large Plates - £8.00

Cake Stands - £20.00

Other items - price dependent on item

 Cleaning Up

 If you don't want to or if you don't have the facilities available to wash and dry all items then if you remove any remaining food from the crockery then we can put on our marigolds for you. Cup candy wash up service is charged at 20% of the total hire charge. Please indicate before final payment is made if you require Cup Candy to wash up.

 Finally

 Cup Candy accepts no responsibility for any damage or injury caused by the items hired or sold. Goods are hired under the hirer's own responsibility. We cannot accept liability for any claims that arise from any event concerning or involving items hired by or sold by Cup Candy.
